Yes they do in fact break. If you notice there’s an “out of 9 number” for the melee weapon, that’s why you can pick up more than one. They can be thrown but also eventually break. The durability perk might just lengthen durability by a bit. Yes they do in fact break. Unlike other animals in Far Cry Primal, common wooly rhino and two-horn rhino aren't morphs of the same species, but two entirely different species (a possible prototype of the latter could be Megacerops [en.wikipedia.org]). Rhinos are the toughest and most dangerous herbivores you will ever need to hunt for their skins. It would essentially take out the Far Cry and add more Primal. It wouldn't be a fast-paces game like all FC games are, this mode/mod would essentially turn it into a survival game where you aren't a one-man army.
